Day 3

So, you'll have to bear with me on the dates here.  The way I'm doing this is that I take a picture every day, and I consider that to be the large chunks of time I'm awake between sleeping for smaller, but still large, chunks of time.  I realize that date-wise it may not correspond to every day, but I promise, I'm not slacking.  My sleep schedule is just strange.

So, my life is still fairly unexciting.  Today I was able to get out of the house again.  Went to the mall, but I spent most of the time either following up on jobs (most of whom only told me that they'd already filled all their positions, even though they'd promised at least a callback), or wishing I could buy things.  Even so, it was good to get out of the house, just was a major eye-opener for how much I really need a job right now.  It was EXTREMELY frustrating to go into so many places that pretty much just didn't even seem to glance at my application.  Oh well.  Such is life.  I'm still hoping to hear back about the nanny thing, because that would totally be my favorite.

This weekend, I get to spend the weekend helping my mom tear down wall paper and other things in the kitchen, because renovations are starting next week.  She's been redoing a lot of the house lately, in hopes that it will help her sell the house when she gets married and moves out.  It's just a shame she couldn't do it sooner, so that she could enjoy it herself a little longer.  We still have the 60's green in our kitchen, and it honestly is not the most attractive thing.  I wish I could help her out more often, or at least be able to cover more of my own expenses, but I try to at least do the best I can.  I can't WAIT to have a real job and actually be able to pull my own weight.  I look forward to it for many reasons.  :)
